Help support Green Cares Food Pantry & Caring for Kids! Our NHS and Raise Your Voice Clubs are organizing a community food drive, and we need your help to make it a success!
It's super easy to participate:
🗓️ Saturday, October 25th: We'll drop off donation bags right on your doorstep! 🗓️ Saturday, November 1st: Fill your bag with non-perishable food items (canned food, boxed meals are great!) and leave it on your doorstep for us to collect.
Prefer to drop off? You can bring your donations to 1701 2nd St., New Glarus, between 8 AM and 3 PM anytime before November 1st.
Let's stock those shelves and help our neighbors in need!
A big thank you to Roy's Market for sponsoring this event!

🚸 Bus Safety Reminder from New Glarus School District 🚸
As the school year begins, we want to remind everyone of the importance of school bus safety. Keeping our students safe on their way to and from school is something we can all take part in.
Here are a few key reminders:
• Flashing red lights = STOP at least 20 feet away, from both directions (unless you’re on the other side of a divided highway).
• Flashing amber lights = SLOW DOWN—the bus is about to stop.
• Stay alert for children walking, biking, or waiting at bus stops—they can be unpredictable.
• Drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus face steep fines and demerit points.
Parents and caregivers can also help by teaching children to:
• Wait a safe distance from the curb until the bus stops.
• Always cross in front of the bus (never behind), and make eye contact with the driver before crossing.
• Stay seated and face forward while riding.
Let’s work together to keep every student safe this year!
