The New Glarus High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble were guest performers at the Bel Canto Community Choir Spring Concert at the Monroe Arts Center on Sunday.
Both the Bel Canto Community Choir and the Vocal Jazz group entertained a large crowd, who came out to listen to some beautiful music on a Sunday afternoon!
Some of our Kindergarten friends got creative with some Dandelions today!
Lots of progress is being made on our new athletic complex! The curb around the track is almost complete, concrete is being poured for track events, and the new press box. Keep watching!

Congratulations to the New Glarus High School Battle of the Books team for their 1st-place finish in the statewide competition. Elizabeth Smith, Annabelle Smith, Eli Smith, and Rosadella LaFrance had a perfect score on the final battle quiz, and beat out over 70 teams from around Wisconsin to win!!!

Congratulations to the following New Glarus High School Art students for having their art selected for the 2024 Capitol Conference Art Show: Kaylie Clark, Riley Hoesly, Addie Lutz, Waverly Kalstrup, Emma Mondloch, Carlee Rodebaugh, Emilia Rood, and J Thelen. The show opens on April 3 at the Pyle Center on the UW Madison campus and concludes on April 28th with a ceremony from 1-3 pm.

Congratulations to the high school Math Team for their great results at the Capitol Conference Spring Meet! Overall, the varsity team placed third for all-conference teams. However, New Glarus Varsity was first in the Capitol Conference South division for both the Fall and Spring meets. Clayton Strieff was tied for the top overall scoring student for all varsity students. Alaina Smith and Nathan Heil also received recognition for their efforts. Our JV team had only 5 members but placed 2nd place overall for JV teams. Top JV students were Colton Hendrickson and Eli Smith. Congratulations to all!
Tickets for the Girl's Basketball Sectional Semi-Final game on Thursday, February 29th are on sale now in the HS Office. They can be purchased from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm today, and Wednesday, and from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on Thursday. Tickets will also be available at Lancaster High School at the door on Thursday evening.
